Entering a combined BS/MD 7-year medical school program at The Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education of the City University of New York School of Medicine, I earned my doctorate in medicine from Albany Medical College of Union University in New York.
After graduating medical school, I completed a three year adult general internal medicine residency at North Shore University Hospital of the North Shore-LIJ Health System, in Manhasset, New York followed by a heart failure postgraduate research year in the same institution. Our work focused on idiopathic cardiomyopathies.
I then moved on to three additional specialty training years in adult cardiology fellowship at Winthrop-University Hospital, affiliate of The Stony Brook University School of Medicine, in Mineola, New York.
Board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, Nuclear Cardiology & Stress testing, and Echocardiography, I have been active in many community and medical groups as well as professional societies such as the American Heart Association and the American College of Cardiology. I also have taken an interest in working with my integrative colleagues.
Our offices offer a wide spectrum of heart evaluations in a patient-friendly environment.
